1980年千葉県生まれ。日本写真芸術専門学校 卒業。2002年株式会社アマナに入社。2010年からフリーランスとして活動を開始し、2015年にmaru inc.を設立。
現在、グラフィック・ムービー問わず、様々な作品の撮影を行う。2017年にはフォトグラファーの川崎 彩乃さんとニュージーランドにて撮影した作品をまとめた"rua"という写真集を発行し、翌年写真展も開催する。
また、植物大好きユニット「PLANTARIUS」のメンバーの1人で、2018年2月にはPLANTARIUSとして初の写真展『Life with a plant』を開き、10月にも『夜植物探訪』写真展を開催し、大盛況を得る。

Born in Chiba Prefecture in 1980. Graduated from Nippon Photography Institute, and joined Amana Corporation in 2002.
Started working as a freelance photographer in 2010, and established maru inc. in 2015. Currently shoots a variety of works, both graphic and movie.
In 2017, he published a photo book called "rua", which is a collection of works shot in New Zealand with photographer Ayano Kawasaki, and held a photo exhibition the following year.
He is also one of the members of the plant-loving unit "PLANTARIUS", which held its first photo exhibition "Life with a plant" as PLANTARIUS in February 2018, and also held a photo exhibition "Exploring plants at night" in October, which was a great success.
